is this a real ability?

i was doing some reading and i came across this list of psi powers and one that caught my attention was - "Jinx ability": an aspect of telekinesis that negatively affects
the laws of probability so that things go wrong, the strangest and most
unlikely things happen, etc. Usually this a subconscious aspect of
telekinesis.

i think that i can do this, like if i don't want something to happen, plan for i to happen (sometimes i have to be really specific) and when the time comes it doesn't happen. it always works. so if i want something to happen, i think about it not happening and it happens the way i want it to.
but I'm not sure if it is an ability, what about you?

I think it would be possible. Think about it, if Micro kinesis would be able to work on computer random number generators, then it can't work by using physics or motion. So it has to be that luck IS existant, and that psi can change it.

"jinx ability" == you were most likely looking at a game site, or a fluffbunnies playpen.

this... is stupid. you had to be looking at a game site.
your subconcious mind will use whatever means it has available to it to manipulate events as it sees fit. telekinesis, telepathy...
your subconcious mind either uses telekinesis or it does not, there is no negitive telekinesis, and there is no using an aspect of telekinesis and you arn't changing probiblilities either, you are changing the event. you may choose to verify your results by observing probibilities...

fluff bunny: used by PsiPog and sites like them. A term used to described psionics that are spiritual to the point that they make up stuff and believe in fake abilities and energies. Half of this site could possibly be described as fluff.

You sell your self short Karen, its a great site and most stuff on here is NOT fluff, it would be nice though, if there would be a thread about odd abilitys. For newbs out there that are learning about PK/TK if the ability is odd chances are it doesn't exit. ie : elephant-a-kinesis <-- ability to control an elephant (good luck with that one)

although that would be very funny... and I generally agree. I do think we as humans think ourselves less capable than we are, but if it sounds weird, than yes, it more likely than not is made up.

that sites full of $^** im a wiccan and a psion/ what evert he proper term is. and belive me what they had under there "witch" part on thetre was wrong on SOOOOOOOO many levels..
though i wasnt inpressed by the rest of that site either so i think that sites not a trustable site.
