Incredible Energy Rush

It has come to my attention that I recieve this incredible feeling whenever i listen to music where the induced emotion is rage, anger, hatred, or anything of the like. Whenever the situation feels intense, i took note to a rush of electrical type energy that goes from top to bottom, but only on my right side. I dont know what it is, but i would like to be able to keep the rush for longer than a few seconds, as i feel that i could do some amazing things with this energy.

So, can anybody relate? Can you tell me what this is and how to control it?

umm this isn't good. In star wars terms this would be called the dark side. In psionics..we call this highly uncontrolled skill that can lead to hurting you and others. Learn to calm yourself when listening to music and learn to gather energy in a peaceful way and you should be able to control it.

i get that feeling too sometimes, i like it it calms me sometimes but it gets annoying it makes me wanna force it all out in a huge burst of energy. i dont get it from music though, i get it when i think too much about all the things that are wrong.when ever i get it i just like make a psiball and most of it goes away, i dont think of it as incredible but it is an energy rush.

I get that feeling a lot as well, but I don't get any negative thoughts associated with it though. I usually have this feeling of release like it is too much for me to handle. So I usually ground myself and send the energy into the earth. Grounding would be my advice.

Okay. I do understand that this could be a negative energy, hece the darkside. But, i believe it would be benificial to both understand and be able to utilize the good and the bad energy. i just want to understand how to summon this energy. also, grounding wouldnt help. the feeling lasts for a few seconds.

I don't think this is necessarily bad, it's just the way you go about either reacting or altering the flow of this great influx.

If you can handle it, IE: you don't use it in a negative manner, like letting it gather up in one limb, or just forgetting about it and letting it sit and gather and get "stale", then it can be a good thing, it would be like revving up your immune system.

Although if you can't, then you should likely stop doing whatever you're doing. Yet, when you're ready, try to get it back. Simply work in moderation and balance is the key, you can do this, and still have great influxes of energy every now and again.

Doing it everyday, well that would be something bad.

I would agree the people that use psionics for bad should be considered the darkside, not saying that anybody is. What would be the traits of a person that has taken to the dark side though?

I have a destructive mind, to myself when i cant do something then i continue to till i get it right, but I wouldnt attack a person for shear pleasure. I would attack however if the person i was going after was doing something against me or to another person that didnt want to be attacked.

what I meant was that they would probably like to destroy things and hurt people for fun

the above stated reasons is exactly why there should be a code of ethics for psionics. the use or misuse of ones power will determine if the world is ready to be introduced to the pisonic community.
