It's too bad something like this had to happen. I kind of agree with the quote “If people don’t believe us after all the results we’ve produced, then they never will.” It's kind of said but they did say that they won't give up on studing TK .

Well they are right though why would they produce the same data?
So should this be considered a good thing?

I don't consider it a good thing. First of all its, one of the very few credible places that studies ESP at all. Second of all, they probably don't know where to go next after they get the same data or can't form a theory from it. It's getting shut down because the evidence isn't up to par with other phenomonae (ie. gravity). Plus, don't forget the politics involved in this. Maybe someone wanted to shut the place down...
