I found out that i had some sort of energy when i touched my girlfriend's arm, and felt a little tingling. I wondered what it was, and asked her if she could feel it as well. To my surprise, she said she coud. From that point on i scoured the internet for information, and eventually ended up in Jedi_Karen's MSN group. Of course she later went on to make this site, and i got an E-mail, and thats when it all started for me!

My mother was talking about shielding myself from the emotions/thoughts of others for a few years, and I finaly decided that I might as well take a look at this stuff since I had nothing better to do. Googled it with my insane google-skills, found about 20-30 sites with good information, then just sorta experimented for a while, read everything on all the sites, then decided to come here. Since then, I have focused on shielding and healing, as I feel a good defense negates the need for anything else.
Yes, I know that I have a cool mother, stop sending me PMs about it, I am not going to trade parents with you.

I found out well, to make the story short because I've told it like a zillion times already, a precog kind of saved my life and well I googled for People with super powers, and one site lead me to another and eventually I ended up here, this was the most accurate site so I stayed.

Gosh I watched X-Men3 at camp without watching X-Men 1 and 2... and that was around the same time I had found out about psionics. I found it interesting (Which was like, January this year lol  ) edit: 'I found it interesting' meaning I found X-Men interesting ;D. |

being a well balanced martial artist (not the "i can kill you with my bare hands" kind), things like sensing auras, split second precog (as intrigue stated), empathy and energy flow throughout the body came naturally... but my training no matter how physically intense or diverse, started to stagnate my spirit, in short i was getting bored with my body. so one day when taking a much needed day off, i was on youtube and out of curiosity searched "how to chi fireball"... funny enough the first hit was a fireball meditation. the links brought on more links and keywords and i went google crazy for about a week. now i'm here learning some superhero techniques i never thought id ever be able to do, but always wanted to. all the while having a new appreciation and love for my body while i use energy manipulation to clean it up and strengthen it. i guess i did need that day off... I started with martial arts as well, my instructor was into energy work and taught it to some extent, and I joined this group on yahoo called DawnOfTheNewMoon, and they had a link to Peebrain's eBook under the title 'How to Attain Psychic Powers.' So I read it and I wanted more, so I read everything on that site and somehow came across Psilinks, where I then joined Psionline, and the Psionic Dojo, soon followed by PsiWorld, and just now I decided it might be nice to join the forum...No Google searches for me lol! |

fullmetal- You are soo lucky to know someone who does psi who's close to you. Your post reminded me of Bridge to Terabithia....lol. How the girl and the guy (Sorry I have memory loss so I forgot their names ^^'') created their own little world, and they knew each other because they lived near each other and went on the same schoolbus!!!

they way i foung out about psi,is that my grandma talked about how we had a great aunt who could do paranormal things,witch craft,wicca,etc.bad stuff but with rekki.then i tried looking in witch craft levitation,of corse,it doesnt work,i then sstarted going to church with my friend,and thought of the concept on the end,and supernatral beings walking the earth,then i thought of how there are some christan phykics(spell check)so got on line and looked for things like that and found the wingmakers site,i tryed learning psi,not much success,i quit for about 6 months,then thought of naruto and programming psi balls to be chidori or rasangan,but anyway,i thought of it and tried a differant site searchind,how to make balls of energy,then i found this site,ive still only made a warm psi ball,that was it...

I didn't really understand that statement. Are you saying she did witchcraft, wicca etc. and other bad stuff, or that she did bed stuff with reiki (but isn't that a healing practise? so what can you do that's bad with it?)
