How did you find out about psi?

I'm just wondering, for people who didn't have any psionic experiences before finding out about psi, how they found out about it. My story is really coincidence, because I had this phase of going to WikiHow and looking at all of the requested articles. I found an article called 'how to make a psi ball', and it had already been written. So I was like, 'what sort of ball?!?' and looked, and then did a couple of searches on google. At the same time, I was interested in otherkin/ vampires/ weres/ etc. so I found out about them. Although that last point was completely unnessecary...*ahem* Anyway how did you guys find out?

Well I think I was destine to find out about it.I all ways though powers and abilities was real deep inside while every one told me that its all fake and my mom all ways try to keep me away from this stuff ever since I was little.Then 2006 hits.I watch this movie called pyrokinesis oh my god an aw some movie it was in deed.So I did some research on the web.Seen pictures and articles and even webs and then I found this site ;D and my whole life changed. Some their in side me told me not to give up on the instinct about powers and abilities.

I was wondering if there wasn't some truth to all the energy referenced by anime and movies such as Dragonball, naruto, etc... First time, about 4 years ago, I found nothing. People talked and talked about chi, but more as a morale and philosophy. This time I found this website. I sincerely think they're all the same. I started looking for chi, found nothing. looked for energy, found power supplies so i searched for energy + something (dunno what) and found this website.

So I'm only in this for the knowledge, but in order to know more, i'm exercising it.

I always had weird experiences; lightbulbs explodes sometimes, light goes out, objects falling... The things mostly scared me were this:
1.) I got mad about something , went to the door (luck was nobody saw this) grabbed the doorknob and ripped it off . Not ripped from the door- the knoob was metal and it just twisted in a weird way and broke, like clay would if you try to rip a piece of it.
2.) Talking with friend, parents and house friends we have; I don't really know how, but when I tryed to take the glass to drink some water it broke in an instant i touched it . It was smashed into pieces .

Than for a while nothing specially happened , except of misterious behaving of cell phone battery (sometimes it would be full for a week and a half and sometimes cell phone would beep that annoying sound for empty battery in an few hours) and an old electricity failures around me + falling objects. Than I got internet connection; my own private connection and I had plenty of time to search for stuff I wanted to know ... Among everything I looked for what would be the things that happened so manny times and found few good sites. Eventually I finished here. ;D

i was first exposed to psychic stuff in an episode of pokemon. but in that episode they said you had to be born with it to do it, so i just accepted that. then i saw somethignlike "ripleys believe it or not" and this guy could bend spoons like the guy in pokemon. and thats what got me to believe in psy stuff.

then years later i got interested in psy when i saw a movie about some kids that were cloned and they all had different abilities. so i did some reading, and searched the internet. but that time, my internet searching skills were really bad. so i found nothing about how to actually do it.

then a few years back, i wanted to write a movie/book about a psy-shchool and wanted it to be accruate, so i waned to know what doing psy stuff felt like. and the only place i knew i could kind psychic was on the internet.
my searching skills were really good, and a few months before i started searching for psy stuff, i was searching about "how to do stuff"
like how to do a hand stand, how to swim, how to do a back flip, and stuff like that.

then the idea came to me, and one day i typed in "telekinesis lessons" and learned that everyone was able to be psychic then i started to type in "how to do -ability-" and got results.

i learned that i already possed some abilities. like precognition, but i didnt know that i was doing it all this time. i thought you would actively know when you were having a vision, like in "thats so raven"

then eventually i found some psions on hi5 and then found this site.

I first discovered psi through empathy. Years ago, when I was much younger, I realized I was far more aware of other people's thoughts and emotions than most others are, and affect them greatly as well. At the time (and I still am) I was a major bookworm, and I stumbled across the term 'empathy' while reading through a book. I realized that this was awefully similar to what I was able to do, and began to research more.

From there, I began to learn about auras. Using that knowledge, I began to combine the two skills. As time went on, I began to research and teach myself more, eventually moving on to channeling energy through my body (a process which was sped up through martial arts) and meditation. From learning to fight, I realized I also had a very faint degree of ability in precognition. I was, and still am, capable of seeing just a brief moment ahead (which was immensely useful while sparring). I've never been able to refine that particularly well to see any further though.

being a well balanced martial artist (not the "i can kill you with my bare hands" kind), things like sensing auras, split second precog (as intrigue stated), empathy and energy flow throughout the body came naturally... but my training no matter how physically intense or diverse, started to stagnate my spirit, in short i was getting bored with my body. so one day when taking a much needed day off, i was on youtube and out of curiosity searched "how to chi fireball"... funny enough the first hit was a fireball meditation. the links brought on more links and keywords and i went google crazy for about a week. now i'm here learning some superhero techniques i never thought id ever be able to do, but always wanted to. all the while having a new appreciation and love for my body while i use energy manipulation to clean it up and strengthen it. i guess i did need that day off...

i found out about psi in a really wierd way. I was interested in superpowers and on wikipedia i found an article ith a list of super powers, one of the super powers was energy manipulation, so i decided to google it and thats how i found this site.

i was just asking on a yahoo chatbox if someone knew about blasting energy and levitating and how it could be done. Then i was directed to a radki site and via that site i came here. Though, i have had the tingling hand feelings since i was 14 and i was able to make a psi ball since then but i didnt knew what to do with it further and i couldnt find something on internet that time.

I had a dream when I moved a lamp with my mind. I knew it was called Telekinesis because there was an episode on Pokemon . I goggled it and found a site called Paranormal.se.
There I read that your could move the objects with small balls of energy. I clicked on the link at the bottom and I came to a sub-site of Wingmakers that talked about Psi balls.
I tried the technique and was after a while able to make one. After that I found the Wingmakers MSN group. And in a post there I got the Link to this site.
