Theories- Psi in a Scientific Environment

I'd like to see some of your theories as to why psi has never been able to be proved in a scientific environment, especially since there are so many who are so proficient.I have a few theories myself.

One: Psi is meant to be kept a secret from the outside world and therefore when one tries to actually prove that it exist, the energy itself doesn't allow itself to be used.

Two: The person being tested is nervous that he/she will not be able to perform under scientific conditions because of the fact that so many before them have failed. This small amount of self doubt is enough to prevent the psion from performing to their usual potential.

This is very puzzling to me and i would like to hear the thought s of others!

Those are hypothesis, my friend, not theories. So far we can discard both of your hypothesis.

One: Look at it from this analogy. A person who has an ability (such as swinging a bat or throwing a ball) can use it whenever he wants for whatever purpose he wants. There is nothing that limits this. Energy will manifest when the user decides to use it. Also, the energy doesnt has a conscience to decide whether or not it should be used.

Two: There have been successful experiments under strict scientific methods. For example, experiments using RNGs (Random Number Generators) to prove micro-PK, way many experiments using RV, even experiments about telepathy.

Just a bonus: Many phenomenas have been proved to exist. What scientifics dont know is how they work (aka their mechanisms) and what is the motor of these abilities (what makes them work).

Well what you're saying is basically that psi has been proven to exist. If this is true, then why is it unkown to the general public, and not accepted as truth?

I think that because it can't be replicated via scientific ways, but I've read about a lot of proven experiments and organizations, in the history of psi thread the link that JediKaren posted is really useful.

The general public won't accept something until it's been well known for at least two years and they won't realise things until they are forced to by TV or some other form of media.

There have been many experiments into many fields of psionics, some are successful and some fail, but the government have used remote viewers and that has been on TV.

Most people know it exests, but they only know it broken up, such as TK; RV; and telepathy. That bacically means that people don't know the energy that cause it, don't know they are connected, and think that you have to have been born with those abilities, as in some people have them and others don't. That's my view tell me what you think.

Also, that people think that if they can't do it it doesn't exist, I mean, they could if they tried but well, I think that most people is like that, If I can't do it then it doesn't exist...
