Hey everyone. This is my first post and I wanted to talk about the new show on NBC called Phenomenon. What do you all make of this show, considering it's about the basis of psionics even though it has to do with mostly illusion? Of course, you would had to have seen the previews for this show because it hasn't shown yet.

...It's kind of like faking pain when burning, I don't think it's possible. I don't think it was fake. I don't think a person can fake a hand in a trap type pain, he would have showed a slight emotion towards it

Sorry to say it, but everyone that is in to street magic is fake.
For example; Chris Angel and David Blane.

Their job it to make it look real, but they are all just illusions.

Trust me on this one, if someone actually could do all those thing they would be locked up probably by the military as a test-subject.

There's no way that they would allow that guy/girl to be on TV, they would test him/her until they find some kind of military use for it. Because they wouldn't want someone else to get that kind of military power.

I guess you've all seen the Chris Angel building levitation, don't you think that the military would find that quite interesting?

For example; If a soldier get hit by a bullet, they would just throw smoke grenade and then fly up into the sky.

To make it even move exaggerated;
Why use planes when you can just use an army of flying soldiers that drops all those bombs,
It's wouldn't make any sound because there is no engine at work and there is no expensive fuel cost either.
If they wore a suit matching the sky they would be practically invisible.

Well, back to reality..

My point is that the ones you see on TV is fake.

I guess you have a point considering Criss Angel is just an illusionist, but the abilities that were shown by the people on stage are actually real abilities, right? Whether or not they actually possess those abilities is I guess up to the opinion of the viewer.

In the show; the guy with the trap used shields to keep him from being hurt and RV to see the white board. the guy with the nail guns is a joke because when a gun or nail gun loads it makes different noise based on if the clip is loaded or not. the guy with the phone books made constructs and binded them to the Frisbees and programed them to suggest the numbers that were chosen.
