ya, we do. lol I go there often. however, I can offer an explanation. we use the terms as ways to determine what exactly someone is doing. for example, is someone used fire energy, we say it is pyrokinesis. or if we use geokinesis to sense where someone is, we know the person did it using the earth in some way. yes, it is very unnessesary, but it works for us. you know, "different strokes for different folks." lol and also we talk about more than just psi. not critizizing you, just saying.
I realize it is different, but it works for us, so please, respect that we do it differently and do not make a big deal out of it.

i do respect it, i use those terms too it makes it simpler for people like me. its personal preferance.

its much easyer to understand what someones saying also.. thats the main reason i explain it like this..
today i used chronokinesis to slow down my perception of time..
its a example dont shoot me.. my point is ive noticed it seemed to be a hot topic on here at one point on how to explain it. i feel that to understand something we have to break it down into parts to understand the hole of the idea.. ive never seen someone show the awnser without stateing how they came to the conclusion that the awnser is actully the correct awnser or how the awnser is even relevent to the problem..

Ive never heard "geokinesis" heh thats funny i just call it all either telekinesis or psychokinesis...and i get away with it too. XD

IMO you have two options. Either you see everything as specialised psychokinesis, or you see it as a different skill. I'll go for the second one  |

ok so i don't see anything wrong with saying pyro, cryo, or electro kinesis cause you made the element your self. but like geokinesis, i would call it pk on earth, cause you didn't make the dirt or rock. but with electro kinesis, you made the electricity in your body, and i think its different tan if you controled electricity in a wire. but i don't have a problem with saying electroPK

Once you've figured out one form of PK the rest is pretty much all the same. In my opinion, when someone says they can do one type of PK, and then says they can't do another, they were probably lying with their first statement.
Well, the first thing I affected with PK was the network card in my computer (first subconsciously then later reversed it consciously). If I was like a lot of psions I've encountered I'd claim to have cartokinesis or something like that!

I do believe in the many different skills. What most of you seem to be saying is that if you learn to start fire and master it, you are saying that you can also control ice, earth, wind, etc. But each has a different way of using it, so they are all different abilities.

jeremy , people need different things for other PK/TK skills. If you succeed at spinning a psi-wheel, you may not at dancing a flame or putting it out. It's not that it's different, i aggree it's the same, but your brain doesn't think so. Some may bypass this, but most will have a hard time at it.
