I didn't know were to put this but I was wondering about the difference between TK and PK so I made a theory. What I have concluded is that TK is the use of your bodies physical forces ( This includes a motion such as a wave of the hand ) to munipulate things and that PK is the psycological foces (emotions, feelings, and thoughts ) to munipulate another force ( water, air, fire, earth). Please post if you agree or disagree. And if there is a disagreement please tell me what it is so I can do a further analisys. This is to help those how take things more logicaly like me. I'm only in 8th grade and only been studying sence this year so don't be too harsh on my theory unless I'm compleatly wrong.

well, TK and PK are the same... TK = influence over matter without any physical interaction of any kind (no touching, blowing on it, etc.) PK = influence over matter with the mind
there might be things that fall under TK and not PK, but in psionics, it's the same thing, right?

Maybe the difference is one must be performed close to something, and the other farther away

ok, the only difference is where you do it, its pk if the thing your moving is right beside up its tk if the thing your move is way across the room but they are both the same thing, pk can be called tk, but i odn't think you can call tk pk

TK is dealing with gravity and electromagnetism and has many limitation, PK deals with more everything and is not limited to any specific thing

tele = far, so telekinesis is moving objects at a distance psycho = mind, so psychokinesis is moving things with your mind
moving objects at a distance (any distance, can be 2 millimeters or 2 miles) is done by the mind. moving objects with the mind is by definition done at a distance, otherwise you'd just touch the object and it wouldn't be PK or TK.
as I said, same thing.

Telekinesis means moving objects through psychic means. It's just a branch of psychokinesis.
