The source can't get caught if its a person, unless someone is going to be a snitch, that is, if the source of the EMP is someone that practices PK with electricity.

And, I'm just saying that it would be too harmful to EMP a city, using EK or a device. And, yes, the source might be tracked and if that is the case, the people of that household would be brought in for 'questioning' and if that doesn't work, there is always truth serum.

Yes it's a bad idea for all concerned, I'm not saying it isn't.

XPW3 if it worked like (I think) a normal EMP does, they would be able to find the central point of all the damage, and everyone who could be traced to being in that area at the time of the pulse would be screwed.

Ok, it sounds ok. How did you charge it. Was it simmilar to what I wrote, only around the finger, not around you? Could you please in detail write how you did it, step by step (every detail is important), and feeling you had then. I feel current on my skin, very light burning sensation and ''flow'' of energy.

Tandra: That still does not explain how you went about trying to create an EMP. The effects would indicate an EMP, but what I want to know is the process you used to create one.

Daevl: True. I'm well aware of that and I was speaking for myself mainly for the most part. I know for a fact that I wouldn't sit in my own house and create a powerful EMP if it would be able to be traced. I'd be in a public area and do it, then move away. They won't trace me. They'll trace the central point of the signal. I'm a very practical and logical person and that's just the way I would have done, and the most logical thing to do (to avoid from being caught in your practical joke) is to leave the scene of the crime.

Ive been reading about EMPs lately and I cant believe how much information you'd have to know to pull one using psionics. Ionizing the air with gamma and radiation particles, adjust the frequency of the electrons, etc. I think that's a challenge for me. I'll create some experiment soon.

nuukaprotector, that's one of the nice things about psionics. You don't need to understand every little thing. I haven't looked deeply into EMPs, but I have attempted to create one through conceptual programming. I was aiming for a small effect, so I used it on the hub in our house about a week ago (Honestly, I didn't think that I'd be able to pull anything off close to the effect of an EMP, but I tried anyway). Since then the hub hasn't been acting right. The internet throughout our entire house hasn't been working correctly and we've gotten someone to look at the server in our house. Its functioning perfectly and the problem seems to be the hub.

Honestly though, I don't know if I actually created an EMP... when I think back on it.... it felt more like a psychokinetic burst. I'm still doing some experiments with it.

And yet I have to agree with you, XP. But you know what it is said, "Knowledge is power". I totally agree with such an expression; if you can understand the mechanisms behind something you can develop a much effective and efficient way to accomplish a result.
