Okay. I've tried everything I could think of on this psi wheel. I've been practicing with moving a pendulum (Key on 6in. string) in my hand, but I keep telling myself that my hand is shaking and it just "happens" to move in the direction that I want it to. However, I can't get the pendulum to stop at will.
So in order to further my training, I am using a rectangular eraser, with a toothpick, which I cut the tip off of the top of the toothpick because it cut a hole in my psi wheel. My psi wheel is about 2.5 inches, and I think it's a little uneven, I'm having trouble to measure my paper out, because I don't have a ruler.
I don't think my equipment is the problem, I think the biggest problem is one of these...
Now before I begin, I have moved a bathroom door RIGHT after I got up, I was half asleep, and the door opened without me touching it. I almost fell because I was hoping to lean on the door for balance. Now here is the problems I'm probably facing.
1. Convincing myself - I try and try, first with force then relaxation, and I take breaks and still, the only budging I get is when I set my hands around the wheel, it seems that the budge comes from me moving my hands. But when I steady my hands and tell it, try to make it with my mind, or feel as if it's spinning clockwise(clockwise is my first goal, should I just try to get it to shake?) And I've been practicing on and off for over a month now, and I can't seem to do it. No matter how intense my thought or conentration is, I can't get it to move. The solution I believe is to find a motivation. A saying, an idea, or a certain visualization perhaps? I'm not sure. I am very open-minded, so please share with me bluntly.
2. Focusing - I was trying to focus on my hands making the wheel move. I was doing this by seeing an invisible force move in a clockwise rotation. Like Naruto, and chakra, if you will. No matter how long I concentrated on that, still no movement, and no shaking. Also, after I try to move it with my hands, I try keeping m hands there, and then try moving it just with my mind, and I switch constantly. When I focus on it too much, I think my eyes are playing tricks on me, because I see it warp, but it's not moving. It's because I keep eye contact on the wheel at all times. No blinking.
3. Visualizing - I visualize the wheel moving clockwise, I try making myself the wheel, feeling the spinning like I'm on a merry-go-round. However, it just stays the same.
4. Relaxing and Forcing - It says you must be relaxed, and the wheel will spin all by itself, but then again it says you must concentrate on it and force it to move. This confuses me. Please somebody help clear this up for me.
5. Strengthening conscious and subconscious - Okay. I heard that it all belongs in your subconscious, and then I hear that it all belongs on your dominant thought. So I've tried the dominant thought thing, and it's just not working for me. And I have no clue how to use my subconscious or even how to strengthen it. So if it doesn't reside any with the conscious mind, then just ignore it. If it belongs in the subconscious, then I need to know how to strengthen, and use it.
I think that just about covers my problem. If anybody has any links, information, personal or non personal experiences, please share them with me. I really want to get this, and I'll d anything to obtain it. Also, I'm doing this for the right reasons. I'm really trying to get it to learn about the second half of life.
