I don't. I have never practiced Cryokinesis. I might try sometime after school calms down on the break, because now I'm in Algebra 1, and have to do about 30 problems every night, plus 6 tests that my teacher wants to know what I need help on. Luckily, I told her I have a calc at home, and she expects EVERYTHING due this Monday. But no, I can't. I would be willing to learn if anyone wanted to teach.

Cryokinesis was the first form that I started in, so I'd like to think I know how to do a fair bit with it. My main problem is range, and focusing upon a single target. I have a tendency to end up cooling everything around me by a few degrees, when I'm instead trying to cool say, a thermometre by more. As for the range, generally I have to be quite close, two feet away at maximum to have a very tangible effect. That's not to say it can't be done at greater distances, just that I haven't managed to cause much effect beyond that.
To start using it, I've noticed I usually have to have something cold to go off of, like a cold object, or a cold memory or emotion. I often don't get results until I am quite cold myself.

Ah, I see. That's a good concept. I'll have to try that sometime. When you are doing it at a distance, don't think about the distance, just see yourself right in front of it.

When I firsted started self-training in psychokinesis, the first element I tried to influence was ice. Since then cryokinesis (yes I am using a fluff term and I am proud of it) has been my primary element. I know some pretty good techniques if you want to learn... my main one is to sort of clear away all my excess thoughts and get into a sort of cold state of mind. I imagine my thoughts sort of dissolving away and my mind filling instead with a sort of silvery mist. And then I just focus on channeling this mist out towards the object I want to influence. Usually I have the same sort of problem as Shariadarow though and just make the room a little chillier. (At least, I think I do. I have never tried it with a thermometer around before so it could just be my imagination... though I doubt it!

I find psi-vampiry is also a decent method towards cryokinesis, as it can be used to absorb thermal energy, thus cooling your target and warming yourself. When I use it that way, distance isn't as much of a problem, but it doesn't seem as effective.
