Hi, I've been playing with the PSI wheel for a couple of days now, and I have fairly good control. I can more or less move it when I want to and in what direction I want (sometimes it goes in the opposite direction of what I want). However, I'd like to increase my telekinetic powers. I'd like to make it spin faster, move heavier objects, etc. Do you have any suggestion what to do besides practicing? .. Anything that could speed up the process maybe? I've read most TK articles on this site, but I can't seem to find anything that answers my question. .. Thanks in advance.

Well, you know what they say, practice makes the master, but I would recommend also meditating, if you mind is in more sincrony with your body you'll be able to get better a little faster, but beyond that there's not an easy way out that I'm familiar with.

move on to other light objects and then try moving them at a distance.
think about how you feel while moving small stuff then recreate the feeling when your trying to move big everyday stuff.
in a newsletter i got, they said to practice with the psiwheel till you can spin it so fast it looks like its not moving, then go to other stuff

Okey, thanks for the tips. Btw, is there a limit to how powerful telekinetic powers can be?

no, its just a matter of the limits you yourself put on it.

pspeters: What exactly is focal meditation?
ludacruz: Can you give me a little explanation on your technique for moving the wheel?

in a newsletter i got, they said to practice with the psiwheel till you can spin it so fast it looks like its not moving, then go to other stuff Wow. I've never read that. Ever. And I think that would be pointless, mostly because in the amount of time it would take to even get close to that, you should have moved on from the psiwheel a LOOOONG time ago. What you should do is train until the wheel moves moderately fast in either direction when you will it to do so. When you can comfortably achieve this, then you can movie on to rolling something, (I would advise something light, such as a straw) at least, that's always been my philosophy. And as for getting better faster, like Snowind said, meditation works wonders once you get it. Nope. Not in my opinion anyways. Think of it like this: my personal goal (far in the future, and I KNOW this sounds fluffy) is flight. Plain and simple. Now, that isn't what I'd call my limit, but it just goes to show you that according to most psions who practice TK, there really isn't a limit, per say. It's just your own self-doubts and fears.

araclinus: Wow, that's really cool. And, if it's all about beleif and fear, you're powers would develop exponentially as you break more and more psychological barriers and stuff.
linkmaster03: The first thing I do is connecting with the object. I think of it as a kind of "handshake", introducing myself to the object. Getting the feel of it. (That's a metaphor, I don't actually really feel the object, I think.) Anyways, when moving the object, I try to localize the part of the brain I use to move my legs and arms. Then I try to use the very same part to move the wheel. What is important (for me at least), is not to try too hard. Try giving darn whether it moves or not, and don't concentrate too hard (that really screws things up for me). Good luck.
