I enjoy playing all sorts of computer games. golfing, and doing psionics in general. There isn't much I can add to this. ^_^
How did you find this site?
Well... JediKaren introduced me to the first site, and since a week ago, I've been working both on this board and on the actual site, with my crappy HTML skills. It isn't terrific, though, even when made in Notepad. ^_^
Why are you interested in psi?
It's a hard question, but I'll state my thoughts on it. First, psi is important for the science community because maybe it'll let it reach a new era, just like nuclear energy. Maybe it'll help the humans understand a bit more of this world we live in. Second, it IS fun, after all, even when you are not totally good. It can get frustrating more than once, but you can stop anytime. Third, you can practice basically everywhere. And finally, there are some abilities I wish I could have for my own purposes (like empathy. I have trouble sometimes socially) and some that I want to be able to use just to be better than others, like TK. The last part is shamefully quite sad, but that's how I am. >_>
What skills do you have?
Currently, I *think* I can do -some- of the following: energy manipulation [+ programming], empathy, macro-PK, micro-PK, and remote viewing. But I'm not too sure. I got proof on macro-PK like 6 months ago, but I can't pull it off now. >_>
Any goals?
Firstly, I want to learn and probably master Empathy. Second, I want to move a pen again.
As for beyond that, I'd head towards scanning and telepathy, probably. But since it's quite hard to practice empathy, and moving a pen is hard when you can't practice for a week because you need to get the fan on because you roast if you don't, for now, those only exist in my imagination. >_>
Anything else you would like to add?
Two main things.
One, when you do energy manipulation, you can actually use anything as a source of energy. When I wrote my story which had magic as if it was psi (with the typical 4 elements), I could just summon one of the elements and grab psi of that element. It can help when programming and is sure a nice thing to do (to suddenly discover you can practically do magic...)
Second, JediKaren maintains that psionic abilities can't be strong with a logical mind. So basically, I can't be an empath if I'm good at math and minesweeper. I guess another of my goals is to prove her wrong. It is true that I never had any real experiences before I started, but since then, I have.
