I have just recently joined this site and I am hoping to find/ develop my abilities. I have had strange experiences relating to these kinds of things and I need some guidance as to what I should start doing or not doing.

Welcome to the site. I don't suppose you have msn? If not well I would start with going slow, but train everyday. You should start with feeling and gather psi. Read the articles. They tell you a lot.
