My name is Jeanine; Jeanie for short and I am tearfully happy to say I have found my long-lost sister who is none other than JediKaren. I have not seen or spoken to her in nine years, and I am still reeling from getting to know someone I thought I might have lost forever. Now that I have met her, I only want to say I am honoured to have such a brilliant, strong, talented, and kind woman as a sister.
JediKaren last knew me not as her sister but as her brother. I am a transgendered girl and came out to myself three years ago, and a little over one year ago recieved sex change surgery in Thailand. JediKaren, I known this must be incredibly difficult for you, so I can only thank you for accepting who I am. Anyway, to all here, khairete! You have an impressive woman as your hostess!
She has graciously invited me to her site, and I am happy to accept her hospitality.
I have psionic powers as she does (Ok, JediKaren, would you like to give the proper Star Wars quote for tis occasion? , though' I'm used to thinking of them in the language of magick and witchcraft. I follow the path of the temple priestess (viva la vi boheme!) with influences from Wicca, Thelema, Tantra, and various other traditions. In psi terms I'm somewhat practiced in energy manipulation and am a mild precognate. I have what I call a "finders' talent" for discovering things I wish for and can read omens. I'm also spiritualist (shudder) and have had several ecstatic experiences. My practice involves more external props here than I imagine most here, and I draw much of my power and carry my energy by living my life in a certain pattern which holds my energy. That said, I'm convinced words such as magick, prana, chi, energy, or psi refer to the same phenomena.
My own goals in magick/psi right now are primarily to unblock my powers- unfortunately my childhood has left truama which had wreaked havok with my abilities as well as destroyed my health. But mainly I'm just delirious to see my sister again. Otherwise, well, I'm 27, free and wild, and apologies if I don't tell you where I live.
blessed be,
Jeanie
