Well, I'm a bit of an old codger compared to all the young persons on this site, but I'm very new to all this, and so young both in experience and my heart. I live in England, and to the best of my knowledge have no developed psychic abilities, so I'm planning on starting with the basics (I *think* I can feel psi but that's about it at the moment!). I've come to this site via a long and convulated route, and I think it's what I need to learn at the moment (the entity I regard as my patron goddess basically gave me a good hard shove in this general direction). I work as a teacher of children aged 11-18, so I'm fairly amused by the fact that I'm going to be learning a lot from people that age off this site ;D Let me know if I say or do anything to offend, and I shall try not to be a nuisance. Please be gentle with me if I fail to grasp the overwhelmingly obvious, and please let me know if things are going well - like most people starting out in things I need a lot of positive encouragement I'll keep you posted on my progress - erratic and intermittent though it might be With love and respect, applestar

Well first off let me say welcome to the site. I have to admit on my end it does seem pretty weird to be teacher someone who is way older than me (I'm just 19) I guess 6 years of training has really paid off. Anyway you haven't done anything to annoy anyone, in fact you're a step ahead of people with 5 posts already. Well don't worry about age, for it means very little. Everyone is more or less equal when it comes to training, meaning we all have to learn the basic steps.
Enjoy the site, learn lots and have fun!

Hey, think of it as a great chance to get your own back on the teaching profession! ;D Before I was a teacher I was a lecturer/researcher at a university, so I guess that it's about my turn to be the student Which means that I shall heckle, fall asleep in class, turn up late, not do my homework, give smart-alec responses..... My background in *anything* like this is only two years, although I've been trying to meditate for about five. Actually, the more I think about it, the more I realise that I've been headed in this direction for a very long time. Also, I remember seeing the original Star Wars movies the *first* time around. I was seven, and fell totally in love with Han Solo, and wanted to be a star-ship pilot for a long time I can totally understand anyone being inspired by the ideas of the Jedi and feeling the Force. Apart from LOTR, the Star Wars movies are my favourite movies of all time, and I love watching them again and again. Ta for the welcome,

heh...well just don't be the normal highly annoying newbie I am made to deal with and I shall put up with a bit of falling asleep. As for homework, I have to a really stickler about that. I can't help you if you don't practice.

I've figured that one out! BTW, I got the feeling a little while ago (half an hour or so? Can't quite remember) that someone was checking me out. Feel free not to answer, but were you doing a remote viewing? I had the TV on (a documentary about Spielberg films) and my flatmate was in the lounge with me. Just wondering. Anyway, must get ready to go out (and maybe have another stab at psi-balls again)

Fine. Just a tingling feeling, and since I was online I wondered. Anyway, really must go and have a social life (IRL that is!). Ta-ta for now!
