I was, at one time, just a child, messing with power I could barely comprehend. The memories are there, of me, and my energy ball, the force between my hands. "Real" life strangled this youth, his love for what he could do, even though no one else could see. But somewhere deep inside him he knew, somewhen, he would remember, and when he was older, he could stay the hands which would keep him from what he loved. He told a few, but scorn and retribution were his only rewards. So he hid away, until his older days came. And so they came, years later, and upon reading a book, he remembered all he could do, his joy of doing so, and so he tried once more, and while time had not aided him, it had held back its sharp fangs, and he could do it as he used to. He would not tell those close to him. They did not want the truth, for they were too happy without it. So this older youth stepped out into the world of ones and zeroes, to find others who shared his light. The world was a dim place, but he found familiar specks of light, and his passion for it grew into a bright blaze. He tore through books and the like, and his world grew less dim. But he saw something that frightened him. Small specks, barely lit, which were already burning out. So he settled down, and decided to share what he had learned, so that the little ones may grow warm. Here is where he has settled. Would anyone like to warm up?
