I am currently in the process of obtaining my bachelor's degree in European History (Minoring in literature) from Southern New Hampshire University and intend on continuing my education by getting a master's degree in creative writing.
As for my metaphysical background, I have spent around two years working at Astral Society.com and the last year or so has been spent as a moderator and staff member at that site. I now own www.astralsociety.us and www.metaphysics-online.org.
I have been doing tarot readings for a number of years, and have gotten nothing but good reviews and responses to my efforts.
My mother is an incredible astrologer, and while my parents are both Christian, they are very well versed in theology and philosophy and history. Both raised me to be open minded and understanding of other groups of people and when I decided that Christanity didn't sit well with me, they went through a lot of effort to help me find what I was comfortable with.
They have taught me a lot about understanding other points of view, even if I do not accept them, and that has helped me a lot in my pursuit of metaphysical answers. Both of them also atended a Hindu Ashram for many years and had both a Christian and a Hindi wedding. They have done much study on tarot, Wicca, the history of 'pagan' religions, metaphysics and philosophy. My father has written a book on the I Ching and it is an interesting work, for all it hasn't gone very far.
At any rate, I have spent many years working with my empathy, that is one of my most prominent abilities and probably one of the most difficult to deal with. I've spent years wrestling with being able to differentiate between my own emotions and the emotions of those around me. It is a challenge I face daily and with great enthusiasm.
In addition to empathy, I have spent a lot of time studying ghosts and spirits, as well as various other points and parts of metaphysics and so I hope I will act as a valuable resource for those looking to get information.
Despite the fact that I might seem a bit ill-tempered and cantankerous at times, I am actually quite friendly and am open to answer questions or concerns at almost any time. So please feel free to contact me if you need anything.
