Tell her it's not about demons and things. Energy is naturally in all of us. Tell her what you like doing in psionics and why. Meditation helps you relax. Keep thinking of things like that.

I could too, I got Mistofwaterfall's dad to accept it and be more open to it, and his grandma that wouldn't shut up about how bad it is to be quiet for a very long time. I haven't heard a complaint from him since I talked to them.

Ravester, I'm sorry this has happened, oh my gosh! It happened to me long ago too, although it was just my mother who really disapproved. My father was skeptical, but he didn't knock it right off the bat.

Anyway, I digress.

Ravester, just let them know, when they've calmed down and have had some time to think, that Psionics is far from evil. In fact, here is a segment from another thread which I read earlier this evening. It pertains to another psion discussing Psionics' relation to the Christian religion with three different pastors:

The first pastor I asked, was my happy-go-lucky youth paster, Paster Gif. He said he didn't see anything wrong with telekineses or psiballs or anything like that; the only psionic skill he didn't like the idea of, was Telepathy(he gave me a bible verse that he said explained why, but I forget what it was(if you want, I can get it from him later)).

The next pastor I asked was Paster Jon who had a Doctrine in Theology and I think a Masters in pastoral training. Anyway, he has no problem at with with any of the psionic skills(He said they all are okay as long as they are not being used for bad reasons(ie, Dream walking to terrorize someone's dreams maybe, or like.. . I don't know, do something bad with a psionic skill). The convo with him lasted roughly 45 minutes, we went into every psionic skill I could think of, and he agreed that if it can be used to honer God, then there's nothing wrong with it(which was well... every skill).

Last pastor I asked, was the paster of my church, Dr. Gary Whetstone(has a Doctrine in I think "religious studies")... Anyway, I only had a chance to ask him about Telekinesis... He said, "Moving random objects with your mind? Well, I don't see a use for it... Personally, I wouldn't do it." That's all I could get from him(because it was right before his next service, and I had to get going)

To my conclusions, there is nothing wrong to practicing psionics and the Christian faith...
