This is not an easy meditation to do, or at least not for me. It's useful to help your connection with yourself and with life in general. Sometimes after you are done with the meditation, answers to problems wills suddenly come or your health will get better. A really good meditation can be nearly good as sleep, feeling wise.
What you do is first calm down, close your eyes and clear your mind of everything. Get it so your mind is completely blank.
Now open yourself to psi. Let psi flow through you. Feel the flow, enjoy it for it's quite peaceful.
Now stop thinking about psi and let your mind become "one" with the flow of the energy. Don't focus too much. Relax and give up control. You should feel things, but when you stop you won't remember them too clearly. This is a sign that you're doing it right. You shouldn't see anything, though it does happen from time to time.
To stop, simply open your eyes and disconnect yourself from the flow. It's going to feel weird. It always feels like I'm rising out of something. You should be left with a strong sense of peace and quiet.

Thanks for this post Karen
It makes it easier if there is something to focus on too. Such as the flow of breath or an object. These are "training wheels" at the least.

Ok I get what Karen is talking about! Just last week I was able to achive it and now I can do it about whenever I wish. For me it's not really PSI it's the Force(at lest what I call it) I feel whenever I am deep meditation that I am floating totally in calm, peace and all postive emotions. It's easy for me to slip into it because I have learned to stop fighting it and just let myself go. It was hard to let myself go because for me it was something new and I was unsure of it. My teacher helpped me once 3 months ago and I fell into it and loved it.... about a week ago I did it on my own and I woke with not only a deeper feeling of peace, calm and understanding but I could still feel everything in the room I was in. I was in such a state that to regain my awareness I had to streach, move my hands and legs to fully awaken myself.
I can honestly say just allowing yourself to fall into the Force(as I call PSI) is the best thing you can do. You really start to learn and understand yourself better. Female Jedi Master
