When I tried to meditate last night, I felt myself becoming more and more relaxed and more sensitive to sounds, but there comes the part that I've never read about.. I've started to hear my own brain waves. At first I've heard them pretty bright and fast but as the time went they became lower and slower and i felt kind of ... I don't know to explain it.. but like when you sight goes from clear to blurred, but in you mind.
Does that sound strange, with the brain waves part?

I have had it happen a few times, not sure if it is normal or not, but it is an interesting feeling.

That sounds weird... I can offer no help of my own, sorry, because I have yet to start meditating myself. *shrug*

Yes, sometimes that happens to me, but I don't get alot of chances to meditate. So i meditate when i can. That's happened to me, and i wonder what it is, too.

I think that just means your in a deep meditative state. Your brainwaves getting slower definitly means that.

Cool, I will have to listen for that when I begin meditating.

I am sorry to inform you but it is not brainwaves.
It is actually your Eardrum your hearing.
I have very sensitive hearing and I hear very well, if I concetrate I can hear them in loud enviroments. It is the constant vibrating of the eardrums.
If you use your mind you can "project" a song on to these waves of sound and actually hear music. It is hard to do, I can only do it with certain songs. ~Jano

Clairaudience is a possibility in some of these cases, I'll talk about it more another time, or you can do some research.
Anyway... Not being you, I don't know quite what you mean. Mr. Experiment way well be right, it may also be your heart, breathing, or an outside noise. If you're telepathic, it could be perceptions of your own thoughts 'echoing' in a sense.

Well, they have done experiments on this already and according to the experiments it is the vibration of the Eardrum.
The better your hearing, the more frequently you can hear it.
If you can hear it at will by focusing your hearing it usually means you can also pick up Ultrasonic sounds. When everything is quiet basiclly anyone can hear it.

Mr. Experement, that's happened to me before. It was very quiet and i thought of a song, and I heard it. It was strange, and i could do it almost every night i was at the beach, laying down.

Sound Projecting.
It takes the memory of the song and projects it on a low sound. Instead of you having to remember the song and thinking about it, you can just listen to it.
