Umm... there are probably not even a hundred real ninja left in the entire world, just so you know. Most of them died about 200 years ago. A few of them teach ninjutsu to students, but there are no "clans" left. And also... wtf mate? Tai chi is chinese, ninjutsu is Japanese. Just knowing a random martial art doesn't make you a ninja, you have to have 1st Dan in a certain school of ninjutsu to be considered a ninja of that school.

Ninjas died AAAAGES ago, even before WW2! (i think!)

You only need a 1st Dan? I thought it was atleast 3rd.
It might have been different back in the day, as in 100s of years ago.

No, a 1st Dan means that you've mastered the basics and would be considered a ninja. You wouldn't be a high-ranking ninja, of course, but you'd have the name. ^_^ Consider that in most martial arts, a 5th Dan is master status, and ninja were/are very hierarchal in their authority structure. If you had to be 3rd Dan to even be called a ninja, you'd only have one rank between base ninja and master. That wouldn't sit too well with 'em. XD And the ninja aren't all dead, but their status as a social class was broken up a little after that of the samurai. There are still some ninjutsu masters around (an 8th Dan is semi-openly teaching in Japan, for example), but they're mostly all gone.

Ninjas do exist, but as was previously mentioned, their are very few, and the fewer still are masters able to teach. I know only of two dojos that teach ninjutsu, those being in Japan and California(I think). Myself, I self teach myself based off of this site: www.ninjutsu.co.il/wiki/index.php/Portal:Budo_NinjutsuEdit: It looks like my link is broken, you'll have to copy the whole thing and paste it to use it, sorry.

Ah, well I've never heard of a ninja clan. Sounds interesting, but I know no such martial arts, but only a little. I guess good luck finding one, and I would love to hear about it if you join.
