umm when you meditate what should happen i can never meditate to the point where i zone out or visualize anything is there anything i may possibly be doing wrong or is there any brain focus excersises i can do

ok meditate how you do it for about 20 minutes at least take deep breaths when you have done your 20 minutes or 15 minutes might do.count backwards and you will get more relaxed, i sugget you listen to a guided meditation and see how they relax their muscles you wont get perfect zoning out results because you have no good amount of expierence with it far as visualization from meditation i have no idea what you mean as in psychic perception when pictures come to you or just randm stuff dont know but just try what i said you will start to get it.oyu will zone out a ocuple of times for like 3 secs thn ull become aware and wake up again.look up hypnogogtic state thats what the zoning out is.or study altered states of mind.

i dont know about you but i wont zone out if i'm thinking about zoning out or how i cant zone out. too many specks on the screen, ya dig?

heh, I'm the same way, if I try to expect a feeling/sight/effect of some sort, nothing happens. Same if I try to force myself to relax.

lol i think that might be what happens to me. i cannot focus if im trying to so should i just try to like do what i do when i daydream?

Yeah, you could try that. The key is not to get there, rather to let yourself go there. For me I just focus on a sound or song and eventually my mind just...goes... lol

I found listening to peaceful music while meditating really helps relax your body and clear your mind

Well you aren't supposed to expect anything to feel.Meditation is just deep relaxation, they have audios for those chatter minds to calm them with subliminal noises.If you start meditating enough you won't need those.

If you don't know what the goal of it is, just browse a few google sites until you figure out the gist of it. Another method would be focus on closing your eyes and focus and concentrate on one object ,like any god or candle,or crystal.Focus well,you need to relax and not be distracted by anything around you at all not even your emotions ,thoughts ,desires and etc...that maybe borthering you.Once you can do that you can mediatate for quite long.When i first started mediatating,it was like 15 minutes ,now i can stretch it to an hour plus when in good mood or when i can concentrate without anyone coming into my room.
Mediatation : Is to help you focus and concentrate well in whatever you are doing.Whether work,play or psionics techs it helps as a complement to other skills eventually. No matter what you do, always believe you can ...And you will succeed oneday.
