I concur. I always had my gifts, I just never knew what they were, exactly. Since I'd always had them, I just figured everyone had them. <---- huge misconception

But still, we all have gifts, it's just that some people are too closed minded against things like that (or against anything that's not considered "normal" by society) that they either ignore them or try to "shut them off".

It's true powers can lay dorment, but to land on your birthday could be coincidental, or that you truly believe it would happen on your birthday that it does infact happen.
Though I do not perticullary believe in Age, some potent abilities can be unlocked with time or through an event in ones life.

I suppose not age, but maturity might be a factor.
This is reminding me of puberty lol.... =P I suppose like puberty, there is an 'average age' that people start getting interested/ realising about psi, and some other people who develop these at younger or older ages then otheres.
