I can. I have been able to do it for as long as I remember. No training whatsoever, so I'm not much use I can give you a few pointers though: 1: use a white background. 2: look somewhere near the "edge" of an object 3: don't blink or move your eyes 4: learn to shift your focus to a point other than the middle of your field of view 5: most importantly, make sure it's really an aura, not an after-image

you must be naturally gifted.well i taught myself. its not too hard. get a normal six sided dice. get the side with 5 dots on it and look at it. hold it about a foot away from you. now shift your focus from one dot to another, with no obvious pattern, just randomly. make sure you actually LOOK at the dot, not just pass your eyes over it. as you get better speed it up.
took me about 2-3 weeks. just take your dice out at skool in a class or at your desk and do it for a couple miniutes every day.
I got slack but i did see one aura very clearly and its really cool.
use shiryuu's technique once your ready to try looking at someone.
good luck

thanks for the help but what do you mean when you say"near the edge of an object"? and also how do you know if it's an aura and not an afterimage?

it means dont look right in the middle of someones face, look near the temple or sumthing if your facing them front on. also an after image is a colour which isn't the aura. eg if you look at an orange circle. then look at a white wall and you will see a blue circle for a while before it fades away. The aura however is completely different. When i view an aura, the person im lookng at glows white around the edges (this is what i see) and then after a while (no blinking) a swirling bubble like substance (once again its not there, its what i see) appears and moves in front and around them. for example the colour green. then you look up what green means, and there you have an idea of their personality.

not entirely true. for most inanimate objects, the aura is axactly the color of the afterimage. the only way to really see it is to look if the aura is all around the object and not just on one side.
A better way to do it would be to shift your focus to the other dots without actually looking at them. It's not very easy, and I find it pretty hard to tell wether I'm actually doing it, but you need to see an aura with more or less the outside of your field of view for the clearest image.

Theres only one problem that I disssagree with. I think you should move your eyes, because otherwise it IS an afterimmage. If you can see it while moving your eyes than your better for it. I used to see auras, and shiryuus method(with that one exeption) is what i used to get there. Now I don't see them anymore, but I feel them, with my hands.

I have tried learning to see auras they covered most of it. the main problem I have is that I don't have anyone to practice on So far my most promising experiment is to see the arua of my red old spice deoderant, sad I know. many sources say you view it with you periferal (sp prolly) sight (ie you look at the wall or something behind the objest you want to veiw the aura of) most sites suggest 4-10 feet (they say to start at 8 and feel what works well) away from the object whoes aura you want to view. The main experiment I use is viewing the aura's of plain colors. do this with either primary color paper or open paint make any shape you like (I started with squares) teal and red seem to be good starting colors. Make a black dot maybe 3-5 inches away from your object, focus on the black dot after 30sec (for beginers) of staring, view the edges of the shape, It is very important you eyes are still fixed on the dot. I taught myself in about a hour and a half. I notice that I see arua's a lot more clearly when also using empathy.

I taught my self in 5 minutes. Here's my method, garanteed.
1. Find a white background. 2. Look at your hand against the background. 3. Wait for about a minute or so. 4. Useing your periphial vision, look at the side of your hand while still focusing on the center.
It's really not hard to see auras, I can use this technique anytime I want, but there's no real point. lol it kind of like a kick arse mood ring XD
