Other Ideas of 'merging'

I have read about the state of mind called gnosis. It has to do with chaos magic(k), and I have read that it is both a mind that is confused, and the subconscious mind merging with the conscious mind. Is this one way for people to use psi powers? What I mean is, If this is one way to easily use them for people like me with so much going on that we can't concentrate long enough to do anything?

(FYI - I have read about its dangers, too. Some people have been driven literally insane with this.)

The problem with merging your subconscious and conscious is that you'd then have to consciously think about your heart beating. Every second of every minute of every hour of every... well, you get the picture. Unless you could find some way to only merge certain aspects of your subconscious, I wouldn't try it. And I'm pretty sure you're thinking of a different word. "Gnosis" means personal religious beliefs (roughly). Again, I'm having a difficult time understanding what you're saying, particularly this:

Well, it wouldn't be a total merge. Just something like a direct link to the subconscious. And what I am talking about is that gnosis has been called both a confused mind (as in dizzy from spinning or trying to seperate the noises in white noise) and the two minds mixed together.

Nothing ever siad anything anywhere that it was a total link, beacuse, yes, I agree. A complete link will kill you eventually, seeing as you would forget to breathe or make your heart beat. No-one is dumb enough to anything so risky unless it is to help others.

Also, If you a googling 'gnosis' look under a few things of 'chaos magick', not 'gnosis'.



Never mind. I have read that gnosis is a mind that has had its psychic center confused so it has undenied access to any ability. I will try it sometime. If anyone else wants to try, listening to white noise until its not white noise is one way that I have heard for gnosis to work.
