We studied how the eyes work in school recently and if you stare at an object for a while a border will appear around it. This border is a thin band of color the opposite of what the object's color is called the after-image. I have trouble telling this from the aura. Any help?

Well, to me the aura is very thick, and looks at least 8/10ths of an inch. That's not very thin. also, try looking at an aura in the dark. you can't see an after-image in the dark, right? Of coares, it is harder to do.

Yes, very true. I looked at my teacher's, it's yellow. But, I would certainly tell them about aura's, if you feel like you would like to. If it's not cool, then don't. But then, you could sound all cool maybe, and you might accually get some people to come and visit this forum and the main site! Usually the aura lasts for about 1-2 seconds, after that, it's an after-image. Try closing your eyes RIGHT when you see that border. That will lock in the aura colour, but nothing else.

Yes, in regular objects the border of opposing colors is the equivalent of auras... in a way, although in humans, animals and plants, since they have more energy it shows the colour depending on many factors of the living object. In objects the colour can be determined by the original colour although it's not always the case. Try doing it in a Tv, I'm almost positive you'll get blue, on any colour of tv, mine is black and blue isn't the opposite of black, but the tv works on electrical energy, so the frecuencies change....

Thanks. Also, if I'm trying to see an aura, how do I stop everything from shifting to the side like viewing a stereogram/magic eye picture?
