Well first I see/feel the persons energy, by seeing i mean i will see a person (this part I gues is remote veiwing, I get a vague picture of them but I will see their features like their color hair ect. But that only happens on occasion), with the color aura they have. If I want I can feel their emtions too.

I agree with the definition of scanning as using psi to detect psi. To me that is scanning. The thing though is that the word scanning can also be used to substitute for active searching for ones thoughts, emotions, certain places, events, items, etc. So in actuality scanning has more than one meaning. General Scanning though would be using psi to detect psi and scanning (for things like telepathy, precog, RV and such) would be using psi to detect things that aren't specifically psi, but can be detected through psi.
Did that make any sense?

Scanning and sensitivity go hand in hand, but they aren't the same thing. Accurate scanning requires sensitivity. To be sensitive doesn't mean you have to be a scanner.
Here's my definition of sensitivity: Psychic Sensitivity - deals with how you feel and the changes you noticed that are imposed on your system in comparison to the activity and the energy patterns surrounding you.
That simply means how you are affected by the activity going on around you and how well you notice differences in your environment.

uhhhhhhh.... i think scanning cud mean anything out of the options of personalities or people or object or to detect psi itself. its a complicated psionic perceptive ability but the meaning still says ..."detecting something from something " .... its like telepathy but also can be psychometry.
so scanning is little of both or either.
what matter is that its a perception ability with the capability to detect reasons, descriptions or anything out of something.
that what i think is Scanning is about. =D

I think she deleted it and put all scanning under "other". I see scanning as, seeing the energy/feelings in their body, and experiencing them. Everyone's definition is different, so it's whatever you think it is I guess is right.

I think of it as imagining there energy and scanning it by looking for things there like a clour. But i'm not even sure if i've done it right

hmm,.. for me i had been feeling and seeing people's energy all my life.Wihout even knowing it.....hmm,...now...i can scan and also see the images of people clearky in my head... like real people... whn i scan online... one of my specialities... scaning.lol....
