When someone is scanning you,can you or could you physically feel anything-if so-what would that be like? In other words, if you were being scanned by someone, without your previous knowledge/consent of this- & you were sensitive & able to pick up the fact that someone is interfering with you or scanning you-what have been some of the reported sensations from someone scanning you.eg- stinging,or pinprick sensations somewhere on your body,feeling/ or sensation of pressure somewhere-eg-head/just a feeling of knowing etc etc- or does that depend on what psychic skills are more prominent in each person? I suppose that one with a level of telepathy would be able to notice being scanned, but probably only if they were expecting to be and thus were actively looking for it to happen. It may be possible - don't take my word for this - to use a construct to "detour" the process of scanning or something. I suppose there are ways to know, but typically speaking, no, the person being scanned does not realize it.

I don't know, I guess you would have to be actively searching, as zeroagent said, but I think you could probably have a shield programmed to tell you if you were being scanned, but that is what a scan is for right? Finding out what and hoe powerful the person's defenses are?

Not really. Scanning is usually to find things out about a person.

I can tell only if the person is probing deeply. If they are just scanning normally, I am unable to tell.

you could make construct that will make you aware when someone is scanning you, but if he/she has mor experience than you it could mean nothing. You can 'shield' some things you don't want anybody know, it would be well kept inside your mind.

People have a natural instinct-- sometimes called the sixth sense, sometimes not. Anyways, you have a natural awareness (for the most part) when someone is 'watching' or otherwise focused upon you. You may feel chills, goosebumps, an itch between your shoulder-blades (For the more paranoia-inclined), and such things. I suppose you might call this an awareness to scanning, in a sense, for some of the more sensitive people.
You get shivers down your spine, and no one else is around... Start looking harder.

SHields are helpful. A good scanner might make a construct as well to help him or herself.
