Okay, I saw that psychometry would be discussed here when I read the board description, but sadly I found no other threads about it, so I am making one of my own. What exactly is psychometry? I am a little fuzzy on the details, but I think that it is like scanning objects for their memories or something... Also, how do you do it? If anyone has a more detailed description or some techniques they like to share, please do!!!

Psychometry is the ability to get information from holding an object related to the subject. So, for example, if you wanted to see someone's future, you hold an item of personal value to them. If you're trying to locate someone, you pick up an article of clothing or something. You can pick up information about an antique's history just by touching it. I'm not sure how to do it, myself, but there are probably some articles floating around somewhere.

This sounds pretty interesting.
I guess its similar to Remote Viewing as you could do this also to locate someone however this sounds more effective.

Good luck in your training dude.Believe me psychometry is a great ability to learn.Just make sure to ground yourself or you can take on the many energies from a object.
And if you're left handed try to use your right hand.Vice versa.

So ... I have to ground myself before performing psychometry? I read nothing about it in the psipog article and have done it two or three times now without grounding myself. Can this be harmful?

yeah mabey, if the thing has ghosts in it, or if it was owned by and insane person then you get insane person energy inside of you then you become Insane too, then you run amok and crash into stuff and break stuff, then they have to call spiderman to take your wig when you fire him and kick you into the pit of death with a happy footed penguin........

Kind of.If you keep doing it without grounding the negitive energy can weigh you down.And then you psychometry gets kind of washed out. |
