This topic is dedicated to all the psions that don't have time to waste on foreign energy that comes through their shield and enters their field. Basically this is for those that have a constricting life outside of psionics (ie. people like me).
Now the main focus is on the external energies and how they're all getting in and out of our shields and we're either too busy to deal with them or just mentally worn out from all the physical labor and psychological stress we go through. For this reason, I thought that an 'immune system' would be a great construct idea.
The main idea for this immune system is to have a construct that is able to psionically do everything that you can do. By this I mean that the construct is able to create programs, create constructs, have psionic abilities and a behavioral program. It's main mission is to keep your general area (from your energy field/aura to about 3-6 feet away from the edge of your aura) clean of all, if not, most foreign and unwanted energies. But isn't that the point of a shield? Yes, but most shields are thought of as stationary. When you think construct, you think versatile. Now this construct will have some set of specific programs. It is supposed to act like your body's immune system or anybody's immune system, but on a psychic level. Isn't sensitivity the immune system? Yes, it is, but this construct idea is good for those that still want to stay in shape (psionically) even though their schedules don't allow for much practice, and sensitivity varies from person to person so your sensitivity won't block everything out. Your sensitivity also cannot determine what you want filtered and what you want kept away.
Now the initial construct that you create is programmed to do an assortment of things. The one main important program for this construct is the ability to register attacks into it's "memory bank" so-to-speak. So when other external energies come your way, the construct will be able to tell if it recognizes the energy. If it does recognize the energy, it will configure itself to combat the external energy in the best way possible to eliminate the energy. If it doesn't recognize the energy, then it will assess the signature, level of energy, energy format (dynamic or static) and the programs and then add that to it's memory bank. After that it will watch the energy and track it until it either moves away from the range that you've placed the constructs (ie. 3-6 feet away from the edge of your field) or until the energy tries something on you. When that happens the construct will take actions to reinforce your shield, update your shield or send a counter strike to combat the foreign energy. It all depends on how you've programmed the behavior of the construct in reaction to an attack. But the construct doesn't know which is an attack and which is not... True.. it doesn't, so you can program the construct to do one of many things.. alert you of the information stored in the memory bank.
When you see the information in the memory bank, you have one of two options, confirm that it was an attack or tell the construct to filter it through whenever it comes back around. If you don't have this program, then all the construct will do is to act on it's initial behavioral program which is to watch the construct until it either tries something on you, or moves away from your general area.
Another program that could be added (but is optional) is a program that allows the construct to replicate and produce a daughter construct with the exact same programs as the parent. To control the number of constructs in your general area (because it will get crowded), you would have to program a limit to the number of constructs in your general area. Start with a limit of at most, 10 constructs. The constructs don't have to be big in dimensions or size, they just have to function well. So when the amount of constructs reaches 10 then all the constructs are programmed to stop replicating.
So there it is.. these are probably going to be the backbone for the immune system programming. Anything beyond this is for you to decide, be creative and stay in practice .
