I'm gonna go ahead and say it.

I think the mayans stopped at 2012 cause it was far enough for them. They'd do some more about 50 years later. That's what I think.

Everyone else that wants to get stupid about the world ending etc.: If you really care, learn precognition, make a real prophecy, don't get worked up because a bunch of people say some stupid stuff. Blindly following other people or making assumptions based on nothing makes you stupid, gullable and a tool.

Seriously, where does our current calendar end? Did anyone go over the year 3000? cause that's kind of a waste of time, let people from the future generation go to 4000. We don't need to predict every day of the future (most importantly because it can some day change. Due to evolution. There's more than one way to tell time). Oh well. Thanks to computers, we'll have calendars till 9999, and then, someone will say "The world "might" end in 10000". i just added in the might for kicks.

it said there will be something big on 2012 not nessacerally the end, i heard about a monk who remote viewed to 2012 he said that by that time with global warming and war and stuff like that would destroy earth but extraterastrials come and save us from destroying our selfs.

i've seen many people be saved from themselves (well not really, but i can guess) and I'm not sure if that's what i want. Also, why save a race that's dooming itself?
