Yes, I have done that personally to depressed freinds. You can also make a construct to broadcast an emotion. I used a whole bunch that broadcasted fear on halloween.

I donut think you can take away you're fear by making a construct out of psi. Its you yourself who believes that you're construct is actually taking away you're fear, and if you think that you're fear is gone, then you wont be afraid.

Actually, fear is an emotion, emotions are energy. Therefore you can try to find what energy-type fear is to you, and create something to change the fear into something else, or simply channel it away from you.

Also, if it was simply a placebo, it wouldn't have worked on the countless people I've used it on who knew nothing about what I was doing.

I'm not big on perception. Although I have made a construct before that projected a feeling of calm and confidence around me. Used it for rugby last year, never lost a game.

From what I understand, constructs aren't used to channel emotions. I suppose, perhaps, with a higher knowledge of psi in general and constructs specifically, one could possibly create a construct that - as chakraflow said, - could give you the effect of a placebo. As for why it works on other people, perhaps in the attempt to "take away their fear(s)", maybe you simply draw out their negative energies. I believe constructs are more like tools rather than emotional manipulators.

And empathy isn't the ability to alter emotions, simply the ability to feel exactly what another person is feeling. Emotional manipulation is different. Though, I'm not sure just what it would fall under. Maybe a form of TP?

Well, emotions are energy, so the said construct would simply have to be able to locate a certain energy signature and remove it in one form or another. Every emotion you can think of is simply a form of energy. A emotion is energy, energy is emotion. However, there are many types of energy I have found that do not have an emotional counterpart. I have yet to find an emotion without a counterpart of energy.

There is not exactly positive and negative energy, as it is simply various emotions normally. You have harmful and non-harmful, which most people classify as negative and positive.
