Gaurdian constructs?

I was reading Constructs A.I and read over someone talking about something called a gaurdian construct, what is this? can someone give me a tecnique of doing something like this. Or at least an exaple of what there for, thanks!!

Well from my personal experience with what I call my "Holy Sanctuary" shield, I can tell you that constructs CAN HAVE A.I.

What my holy sanctuary is (simply put) is an area that I place four statues around, make a globe over it, then add a "Guardian" in a shape of some type of holy figure. I.E. A priest, monk, angel, saint, etc.

The purpose of this is to keep energy vampires from vamping me, but that's besides the point. The point is that my "holy figure" I program to "If any vampire come within a <distance> of my sanctuary, then cast a "spell" or something at them."

I tried this with a friend of mine who is an energy vampire. What he reported when he got through my globe is that he saw a large figure of an angel holding a staff. The angel shot out a blast of energy from its staff and then my friend retreated.

So, coming from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, I must say that AI in psi does exist.

You don't exactly have to make a guardian to protect you, perhaps you want a pet? How about a cat?

Program the cat to "Act how a cat would" tell it "Rub up against people's legs." See how people react. Be creative, use your imagination.


As for techniques?
Well, what I do (seeing as I've done it so often) is just look at a spot and "see" energy forming into the guardian figure.

However, for people who have never done this, here's what I used to do:
Being making a ball of psi, however you do that. Visualize the ball flying to the spot where you want the guardian. Use that ball and shape it into the figure you want. make another ball, and do the same thing, just keep adding layers and densining it. Soon you should have the outline of your guardian. This isn't enough.
Now you can either simply tell it "Have Artificial Intelligence." or if you want it controlled, then only give it certain abilities.. for example "You are allowed to walk, but not run or jump. You are allowed to crawl, but not roll over." Stuff like that.
What I personally do is make a list on paper of stuff I want the guardian to do, then form that list from paper into my head, and program it all into my guardian form.
That's my method; you're welcome to try it. And keep in mind, be creative! ;D

I have three constructs that do things when I'm under attack - but most of the time they just sit inside me doing nothing much. I actually started by making a copy of my friend's guardian construct then split it into three pieces and gave two of the pieces different abilities and slightly different things to look out for while leaving the third one unchanged.

these guardians can they be set to follow you around and guard you or do they have to be stationary?

They can follow you or be set in a certain aera or object.
