A useful psi pet.

All right, I know I can't even make a psiball yet, but I have some awesome ideas I'm going to try. when I can.

Here's one of them. Do you think it's possible to make a psi pet trained to absorb energy from anything excepting people and animals, and instruct the pet to give it to you? Something like this could be useful when doing an exercise that requires you to use a lot of your own psi, or just to give you a recharge if you have done a similar exercise.

I took it a step farther - I have a construct that generates energy from nothing but more energy, thus it increases in power exponentialy, and gives the extra back to me.

But yeah, most people make constructs to drain energy and give it to them at some point(I use them regularly).

yeah, iv made constructs taht draw from the evnironment and leeave living things alone.

the one i left at the university campus draws from the wind when it blows.

Are you guys actually putting these things into shapes, like, not just programmed psiballs? Can other people see them?

If they flare, or they can see auras, but not usually. Mine is in the shape of a snake, and it takes energy from the sun and gives it to me. I tell it that if I overload to desintigrate.

or, they can sense what they are, with their mind. Thats the first thing I teach noobs.

The only people I know of that can sense my constructs are my brother(even though he doesn't do psionics), my cats, and little kids.

I also had a friend at school who studies magick and could sense them as well(though, he is a bit on the crazy side. Fun guy to be around ;D).

If you psi pet spends most of its time hiding inside your body does it count as a pet? If so I have a few that feed on their own energy and and amplify it when they need to (like vornakos's ones if I understood him). I don't need to absorb energy from my pets since I can get as much energy as I can control by amplifying my own in the same manner. I use them to keep an eye on things for me when I'm busy.

The way I see it - if it is just a set of programmed instructions to act like life, then it is a psi pet. If it has life of its own, then it is an energy lifeform.

yeah, i give them shape, but the one on the campus isnt a pet, just a ribbon of psi.

they become pets if you treat them like pets. or at least, want them to be like pets.
i dont treat my jellyfish like pets, all they do is float around. but since i made them animal shape, i just call them pets
