Psionic Symbiot

Please stop asking about these, I have ended this project, and it will not be restarted. Those who wish to read about it and possibly try to create something similar, feel free to do so.

First off - this is not a construct. This is a living creature. It is intelligent, just as we are.

Second - no I cannot teach you how to make one. I myself do not know how I did it. All I know is that I made them, and they can replicate when needed.

I created the first of these a while back, and have been giving them to various people, but recently I got permission to post about them on the forums. Therefore, I am listing what they do here, as others may wish to know about them.

They drain your energy to live, yet will not harm you due to many reasons. They will drain negative emotions first, then alternating types of energy from you. If you get to where you have low energy, they go dormant to avoid causing harm. If however, they have extra energy and you have low energy, they will give you some of theirs. If you overload, they drain the overload as extra food.

They have a few things they can do to help you. Well, thats a lie... A lot of things they can do to help you. They increase telepathy, telekinetics, ability to sense/manipulate energy, they increase the speed you heal, help shield you when you are under attack, teach you what they know, increase the speed you learn, and they learn from you. I am not sure on this one, but I think they also increase your ability to AP.

The symbiot will only live in willing hosts, and if it dislikes how its host treats it, it will simply leave.

All the symbiots that exist share a hivemind, thus meaning that what one knows, all know. This also allows those who have one to form a direct link through symbiots. The way the hivemind was created also allows for a symbiot to be reborn if it managed to die. Its mind will be stored inside the hivemind, and put inside of the next symbiot body that is created, instead of creating a new mind for a new body.

The symbiots will communicate with their host via telepathy with conceptual images. They wish to be respected, and they create their own names. They do understand that not all can think in concepts, and are not too upset if it takes time for their host to understand them.

and how do they live on you? do they go inside of you, stay on you back, or cover you like spiderman?

I did not give them a shape, and I do not look for a shape. I basicly allow them to choose most of their own features.

They live merged with your energy, basicly becoming a part of your own energy pattern.

Yea, I noticed that it is quite hard to understand them at first, though if you understand conceptual thinking, it gets quite easy.

I decided to make them only communicate in concepts and below, as they hold much more meaning than a simple thought does.

They are much like me - if they have nothing to say, they will not speak. Try telepathicly asking it what its name is.

If you ask them something, chances are that they will respond.

As long as respect them you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Trying to use them to increase your ability to hurt others is another thing that will make them dislike you. If you try to drain from it or keep bothering it by trying to alter its energy, it will also slowly begin to dislike you.

Not really that much that bothers them.

I have four of these too, but mine don't seem to have the same hivemind as everyone else's. I started out with one I was given, and it got interested in an uncommon energy type I have so when I taught it how to use it it split into two parts (one that knew how to use the new energy and one that didn't) and then they split again for a similar reason later on.

I dont see how that can happen. They are made in a way that makes it impossible for them to split unless there is someone willing to keep them alive. Also, even if they do split, they are exact copies, including the link to the hivemind.

I can sense one in you, and that it all. There are some poor copies around it though, so my guess is that your subconsious decided to try to copy them and didnt do so well.

I can see how my extra bits could be seen as poor copies, but they have turned out to be quite useful in their own way. Well the blue one isn't really that useful in ways that the original isn't too.
