Suppose one could create a complex "humanoid construct". Instead of being just a shape, it would be in the form of a human, and would even function just like the human body, or in similar ways. (ex: it could have veins, but instead of blood, there's pure energy running through them.) You can assign simple names to them (but of course it's better to have original names, you don't want to say "Dora" and then think of the kid's show, do you?) You could create them using your own personal energy so they are like a small part of you. If you're really good, maybe you could make them semi-visible (but that would be freaky, imagine a fading person in front of you.) What if they could perform tasks such as gathering information for you, picking up objects, small-time psionics (obviously they can't do anything you can't), and even feel emotions? Maybe you want them to be partially friend-like, and partially to serve you, although these are two different things. Maybe you could program them to feel emotions like happiness when you're pleased when them, but forbid them from anything negative. It would be amazing if they could think for themselves and communicate intelligently with you, although it's unlikely because they are just a small part of you.
I understand that this is all just theoretical, and that very few people reached this level. But still, what do you think of the idea? Or can you find flaws in the idea, besides the fact that it's really hard to do?
Edit: I read some posts asking how can you communicate with something made of psi. My question is how can you effectively communicate with something that's a weaker version of yourself? My answer to that is, (and don't forget this is all just a theory) I think that the "independent intelligence" characteristic can be achieved when you program it to receive information outside of yourself, and if it has its own personality, tell it to react to it. But then who knows what kind of harmful or negative information it will absorb.
