OK, so I decided to find a quick and easy way to create constructs with minimal time creating their forms and attributes. I know that it is easier to create a stable construct whose form is know to a lot of people, like a butterfly, than with a form few know about, like the Jaberwocky (kudos on those who know what I'm talking about.). So, I went back into my memory and remembered a card game which still so many people know about, magic the gathering. With drawings for people to make visual concepts in their head, and my own personal investment in the game, I was able to create the empty shells of creatures in about a second. And since the creatures are naturally attuned to a specific element, they work well when you apply them to jobs specific to their element.
Just showing ideas can come from anywhere, even card battle games.
Edit: Good on you, people who know Jaberwocky, and didn't just google it. I'll see you through the looking glass.

Interesting...I like the concept, I've done it many times myself, because energy manipulation is what i'm best at. See really, when you think about that thing you are making the shell for, you subconciously are programing it as you make it. Interesting huh? And yes, ideas do come from the most random places...

I use pre-made constructs quite often, as its quite useful. My method is to compress the concept into a small piece of energy, programmed to drain energy on contact when told to do so. Then you just throw the little piece of energy into more energy, tell it to grow, and your construct will form itself from the "seed" that you threw.

hmm... I was merely suggesting using premade images in peoples minds as the basis of the constructs, for quick creation, but your idea seems much more clever. Having a "seed" satchel, and generating many construct "seeds" in case of most eventualities.
Thanks.

I love MTG! Hey, I'm gonna go make a mini-Darksteel Colossus for my enjoyement! Thanks for the idea! He is colorless, so I imagine I can apply him to any basic task. Plus, he's indestructible so my cats can't eat him xD.
By the way, the Jaberwocky is from that poem by the dude who wrote Alice in Wonderland, right?

My friend Austin really loves pokemon --- like, he is completely obsessed with the game, and for the life of me I can't figure out why. But I asked him what his favorite thing from pokemon was, and he described something called a "metagross" to me. So I made him a construct in the way he described and sent it over to him. Since then he's been adding programming and stuff to it, and now it follows him around and does pretty much whatever he commands it to. Awesome ... thanks for the idea, spilled!
