I love medieval fairs and fantasy novels. I made a shield once that was in the form of armor. Oh, great. I have a book by Charles Cosimano, in which he suggests to make such a shield. I am working on one, at that moment, for my practice of martial arts, based on a Saint Seiya armor (the Phoenix one). But these ones are more complicated than mere bubbles because of the visualizing work. Cosimano suggests to be able to remove the "armor" as soon as you don't need it : he says it repells people. Think about it (but it depends on the programme you gave to your armor). |

i have mine set to only appear when i focus on it. I usually visualize armor forming around my hand and more armor appearing on the rest of me in kind of a wave. i use a specific looking armor. the cooler the better. mine is very shiny and very elven looking with a Celtic knot work for detail. When making it I found that the important thing is to visualize each part as a separate piece, and then kind of fuse it into a whole.
oh and if you can tell me the title of the book I think I will certainly buy it. If it gets your recommendation that is.

To ILuvEire : What do you mean by "He changed his name"  Zedd and I are 2 different persons (otherwise s/he would not ask me something...). To Zedd : The book I talk about is " Psionic Warfare". It is only sold in e-book on Cosimano's site. If you believe in psionics and if you are able to read "poor taste" writing, just buy it.

I had a very simple idea:
First create a mirror shield, and then make a marshmallow shield on top of it.
That should abosord most attacks into the marshmallow shield, but if the attack is strong enough it will reach the mirror it will rebound and be absorbed again by the marshmallow shield.

I preferr A mirror shield on top of a marshmellow shield. If it brekas through the mirror shield, The marshmellow shield will catch it and use the energy to repair the mirror shield.

Why not make a marshmellow mirror? A goo that absorbs energy and reflects outward. VERY simple shield. If you want to get into complex ones, I have a few that will make your head hurt. XD
