Shielding Help

Hey guys, I would like some help on making shields since I don't know how to make any really.

When there is something(other than combat) that you need to know about psi. psipog.net is always the best place to start. They have more than enough articles for anyone getting started. I can tell you how to do different types of sheilds, but I do it differently depending on what I am defending from.

If anything will and visualization helps wonders. Also, Jedi Karen has some articles I believe to check out, so don't forget to read those ! Travel around the Psi sites as well, maybe you'll find a style that agrees with you.

The most effective shield I've ever found is the "Druid" shield. I'm not sure if that's the actual name or whether or not it's well known - but it works.

1) Visualize your body and its immediate surroundings in your mind's eye.

2) At the four compass points, place a pillar at each of these points. A simple column - nothing all that ornate.

3) Connect these columns with lines of light and then extend them upwards to the heavens and down beneath you into the earth.

4) The first living entity to pop into your mind will be the guardian to your ward.

That's really all there is to it.

Whoah, that really works. I tried to do it, and my body started tingling all over, especially my hands. Then I tried to empty my mind so that the guardian could come and reveal itself or whatever, and I suddenly saw a lush green forest in my mind's eye, and a wolf was slowly walking towards me. Once it reached me, it changed into my girlfriend. I do not know what to make of this, can someone please explain this to me?

Perhaps your girlfriend is a lupine person in nature? Wolves are also seen as guardians by some - it could be some animal you are closely tied to. Your girlfriend may simply be that it's someone you trust to keep you safe, or it may be that she's just n your mind so she manifested to you. There are a number of potential ways it could function.

You just gave me an amazing idea!

Okay so, using your idea of "pillars", I will make "statues of angels and other divine beings" Between these statues I will line many holy relics, such as crucifixes and blessed items, such as water.

I will then visualize the angel statues lighting up and a "globe" will form around them.

As for the guardian, I will do just as you suggested. Perhaps just make a psi-angel of a sort, if that makes sense. I dunno

The whole purpose of this is to keep out a certain energy vampire that has been after me for quite some time now. I shall see if this works. Don't anybody worry though, he is a dear friend of mine, and isn't really "after" me. I just wanna see if this works. THANKS!
