Do you think it is possible to construct a shield, then making two constructs with the programmed intent to draw on outside energies to keep the shield healthy, like every time the shield is damaged, the constructs automatically absorbs energy from like earth or sun or whatever, and maintains the shield in perfect shape? But the problem will be to protect the constructs from being attacked/destroyed by someone...Do any of you have any ideas of this?

I never tried it but I think something like that should work. When I make a shield it can usually maintain itself (not repair though)
As for protecting the constructs why not shield them with the intention that their healing energy and absorbing energy can go through the shield?

Why not just program the constructs into the shield? By making a bunch of constructs float around outside the shield you are weakening your defences.

This does work, though it is best to simply have the shield take in energy on its own, else you have a major weakness in your shielding.
