First Time.

OK. ever since I started Psionics I have not really touched much on shielding. Really on occasion, I would make this sad excuse for a shield and then say "yay, im defended.." anyway, I never really did try making a shield and then making it stronger, giving it energy. It is pretty cool. I imagined the energy as a real beautiful blue. Soon the lower part of my legs, (thats all I got done) felt like they were in refreshing, cool, calm, water. It felt so nice. this was great. Anyway since this is in the shielding section, I might as well say my question about shielding. This is my first time at actually Really Bothering with shields, now I want to make my own custom shield. Can I have a few ideas from all of you guy's shields? I might take the idea and make like a little change, or use the same concept and then make something with that concept. I would like some ideas please and thank you.

One of my favourite shields that I can throw up in a second is an absorption shield with a strip shield over it. The strip shield strips the programming of the psiball, and then the absorption shield absorbs it and uses it to power the whole shield.

Marshmallow shields are also interesting (shields programmed to absorb construct, but instead of using the energy they just sit in the sticky goo).

i like my "spidey sense" shield... its the first one i ever made so please bear with me, if it sounds basic. its just large, dense, psi ball that i can fit into (i grow it from my gut, and out of my pores ). spin it at different speeds so you can become sensitive to it and all other forms of energy. when things enter it (other constructs/ physical objects) you will be able to feel it as you feel psi when making a psiball with your hands. react/reprogram accordingly.

I used a shield on a cat... that was my idea.

(it was too cruel so I didn't exactly keep it up, or try to make anything of it I just wanted to know if a cat would react the same way to psychic energy if it was not supposed to be too close to it, and was supposed to block energy )

I just learned this shield from a Clairyvoyant woman:

In my opinion a mirror sheild and or fearn's sheild are the best

Erm, bubble shields don't actually do anything. They're just giant psi balls. Once you program it to do something, it becomes a(n) [you]insert cool name here[/you] shield.

Mirror shields are interesting, but I don't use them. I prefer not to waste the energy. I try to make my constructs as self dependant as possible.
