Well, sometimes where or when i don't want to be noticed or asked something (by a teacher :/) I sort of close my eyes and imagine this dark purple and black energy coming out of my to form a cylinder around me (a large one) and thing that their eyes look into it and sort of get diverted. It works.. to my shock, and i don't get asked anything... all term (not a lie)
so is this shielding of just like.. wishful thinking

It is possible to create a field of energy that hides you from the minds of others. I cannot tell if you did this or not, but it is a possiblility.

I don't think anybody can answer that. It sounds like an invisibility shield (doesn't make you invisible, just makes you un-noticeable, until you want somebody to notice you). Maybe they just notice your quietness and decide not to call on you...but for the most part yes it sounds like it could be an invisibility shield.

It definitely sounds like a good shield. The mind is a powerful thing so I wouldnt' doubt it is working for waterbendinglol.

One of the things my Reiki instructor taught me was when you are around harrassing people, you can set up a metallic mirror shield and visualize thier faces blocked with a black X. If they stare at you, they will immediately turn their head away.

It worked for me, so I use that one alot now, besides the metallic spinning globe blade shield I use sometimes.

I do that naturally, it acts as a near invisibility, unless I want to be noticed. I've heard that to do it naturally is actually a trait of someone with a fox daemon, but others can learn it as well.

i believe the proper term is "cloaking" ...or it could just be a shadow feild :/ either or :S

"Cloaking" really just specifies too much. It's like calling bending silverware with psychokinesis "parakinesis". More annoying than helpful. "Shadow field" just sounds like fluff from a child.

How does cloaking specify too much? That's what it is!

That's what cloaking is. Cloaking is when you program the shield to make you unnoticed. Invisibility is [so far] impossible.

Wow your narrow minded. Invisible doesn't have to mean physically invisible. If people do not notice you then what's the difference? The only difference is if they somehow think about you and look around for you. Although with a really good cloak they will avoid looking where you are. Of course some it won't work on but good enough for the GP.

From a psionic point of view, a cloaking shield is a shield that makes you look like something else, or puts out a 'don't see me' vibe.
