I have been reading around and noticed that topics like shield flaring and making solid shields have been basically ended on the note that it IS possible but you would need extremely large amounts of energy to do it.
Now I am by no means an expert in Energy Manipulation, hey I barely make it into the category of Newbie. But from what I've read you can program constructs to take in ambient energy to replenish/increase their own. Now could you or could you not with the right safety measures e.g: kill switch, program it to stop taking in energy more than it needs to sustain itself once it reaches flaring point? And if you had it taking tiny amounts of energy from lets say every star in the universe couldn't you make a "hyper powered shield", with very little effort on your part, other than stopping it overloading itself.
Now I just might be looking at it scientifically because I have millions of complex shield and other construct designs that are practically self sustainable and do most of the work for you leaving you free to go about your day to day life while having self sustaining super shields and constructs protecting/helping you.
I can share some of my ideas with you if you'd like.
Oh and every design slightly reduce the "karma factor" by giving any excess energy (e.g: the energy it prevents from affecting you) back to the sources they get their energy from.
As I said I am by no means and expert just an ideas man with a general idea of how things work with very little personal experience... so please don't flame me. I don't think I have much to worry about though because all in all this board seems pretty friendly.
