I find this experience common. Most people find everything in life pretty good but if its not a religion and it actully WORKS they would rather not have it known. Funny thing is everything from homosexuals to different religions has been excepted into mainstream society in places like the US but when it comes to psionics, people still hold the same beliefs that they did 2000 years ago. Unlike people who use science MAKE religion more really then it probably is, science can actually test psionic abilitys. Yes, we have seen that happen but what I'm curious about is the fact that there are VALID scientific experiments done world wide that won't make people acknowledge psioncs as a skill and not some occult religion.

I guess it all comes down to this : how long did it take for galilleo's ideas about the earth become accepted as fact.

Precicely... only I differ on your religious opinions. Psionics CAME from the mystical aspects of religion, so give it some credit. The ancient pagans did it first, and then the newer pagans (driuds, witches), and then the monotheistic cultures. They all have eosteric secrets hidden away. Psionics only came around after authors like Fortune, Bardon, Crowley, and Levi were made more mainstream.
