Hey I'm not expert on healing psionics but yesterday my back was hurting so bad I could barely breath(mind would freeze up),so I tried a healing technique and it didn't hurt as much.
Imagined positive psi overcoming black psi(pain,negative psi,etc).

I dim pain all the time...I get horrible stomach aches I still dont under stand why but if you ever have had an ulcer it hurts almost as bad... I just charge my hand and get some psi going and place it on the painful spot...Usually works..
