What Geo said, you numbed the pain. If the wound is still there on the physical, then you didn't heal it. I'm accident prone, sadly enough, so I trip over my own two feet and every rock on this planet pretty much (though hiking is still very pleasureable), but let's say....I trip and fall catch myself, but scrap my hands up. My hands are throbing. I close my eyes, use Psi and presto pain goes away. Is it gone? Open my eyes, no it isn't. Darn, it isn't a real healing after all.
I hope it doesn't sound scarcastic at all, I'm not, just using an example of what happened to me one day while taking a walk out back in the forest. I'm rather certain that you just numbed the pain. I think it's easier to do than to heal the problem.
I've only run into one thing with healing myself. In winter I have a tendacy to get really really really sick, I hate hospitals and needles ever more feverently with each passing year. I was getting really sick last month so I got fed up, 'attemped' to heal myself, went to sleep, next morning, presto, no sickness, wasn't even sick later on that day or days afterwards. That's the only major healing I've ever done.

i did healing on my cousin when he got sick one day. he was sick for about 2 days, so one night i healed him. and the next morning he was good as new. like he was never sick. then later in the day he got sick again. i think this is because i fell asleep ahlfway through the healing and forgot to drain the energy. so even though it made him better, because i didnt drain out the ailment, it was still in his body, so he became sick again.
i wish i could heal cuts. like put my hand over it and when i move my hand everythings all better. but i can only speed out the healing process. i cover it, but when i move my hand its not better, but later its sealed up

actually, blisters don't indicate a failure of healing. In fact they aren't part of the injury but a side effect of some of the body's healing processes.

True, blisters don't mean you failed. I also autoheal myself every time I get sick, so i'm usually sick for 3 day tops and 1 day minimum (and that's when i'm really sick) when it's not that sirious i just walk it off. And i can make myself sick, force temperature high and when everibody is working their but's off i have time to prepare myself for the exam or something else that needs more time... And have good excuse on work... So everibody wins, and I can help a few friends if they're short on answers ;D

Ya, seems to me you numbed it. You should painfully test it if you're a strong person, but I don't recommend.
