I was talking with my mother today, and apparently my family has always been very powerful at healing, but unable to heal ourselves.
I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this as well. I can make a healing orb that works very well in under four seconds, but even with a hour of work I cannot heal the slightest problem with myself.

Hmm...sorry if this example is off topic, but this is just like me, but on a different scale. I try to cheer myself up when something bad happened, but I can't. However, I could cheer up my friend easily, who's uncle just died. I can understand this thing happening with healing, along with other things, such as sending calming thoughts into others heads, when you can't do it to yourself.

Maybe its a trait among natural healers? You can heal others greatly, but at the expense of being able to heal yourself

Oh yeah I remmber some thing like this their called white lighters I highly doubt you are one you may have the powers of one cause white lighters cant heal them selfs
Whitelighters:
are "guardian angels". They watch over their charges and intervene when necessary to help them along their path and keep them safe; they can also be called by their charges. They can constantly hear the lives of their charges in their heads,and if one of them calls their Whitelighter's name, he/she can usually show up at a moment's notice.
Whitelighters are people who were previously somehow connected to theworld or who were generally good people that have died. They are given the choice to become Whitelighters and given the powers of a Whitelighter (such as healing, immortality, etc.) instead of moving on to the afterlife. Their bodies are replicas of their former human bodies,

Yes. I can heal myself BUT i have to use much more energy to do that and it is really really small progress. I can make pain go away but I don't really need that beacose I have high tolerance on it, I only use it for headaches beacose pain in a head deconcentrates me more than anything else.
