Another healing idea. I would like feedback and questions, so I may better refine this idea.

This is an energy device I have created which should aid in the healing of moderate to major wounds. Its functions is to hold the patients energy body in place, so that the negative energy of the wound doesn't travel around, which sometimes happens when you are trying to get rid of a large build up of harmful energy. It is also programmed to keep necessary energy moving.

Create the cube to be made of lines of surgical metal energy. This type of energy is programmed to not leave any residual damage to the body, and not spread contagion. It is made to be strong and not controlled by the flows of the energy body.

This cube is made to be gently forced into the patients body, where it will scan the energy body, and understand what energy is needed for the patient to live, and which energy needs to be stopped completely. It will understand the size and shape of the energy body of the patient.

Once it has completed its scan, it will unfold itself, forming lattices made of the lines of the surgical metal energy, connecting to the energy body in such a way that it is locked in place. It will provide pathways for the energy necessary for life can continue to move. It will lock up the energy of the wound completely, until you unlock that specific area for healing.

It will also have the ability to force needed structures in the energy body to continue to work, should they stop working. This is only a precaution for extreme wounds, where those structures in the energy body have a chance of failing completely.

Make the cube so it will contract back into a cube, and be easily removable from the patient.

For the application of the cube, I would insert it into the chest cavity of the patient, locking the energy from the inside out. I have used it, and the energy body will stay in place, unless you really try to force its movement.

I usually try to stay out of programming threads, and I admit I kinda have a bias against programming as I don't necessarily believe in it, so don't really take this next post personal, just try and answer it for me.

How is this construct supposed to heal major wounds? I understand the energy concept, but it's not going to stop blood from leaving the body. I don't care how much energy the body has, if your loosing blood fast you will suffocate from the blood loss, and I can't see psi healing that. That's just one case in particular, but there are many others.

I think the idea is, it makes the energy body stick together, rather than split where the 'bad' energy is, making energy flow back into the wounded area, causing faster healing. That's what I understand it to mean.

From what I understand, this seems to work off of the theory that the energy body controls the physical body (where as the other theory is something along the lines of 'the energy body only controls energy). If you mend the energetic body, then the energetic body forces the physical bod to heal. Rather than telling the physical body to heal.

I agree with the theory, but is it possible for energy to heal a large wound, leaking a lot of blood, fast enough so a patient will not die?

I don't think so. I agree with using energy for healing, but not for major wounds - energy is not going to stop someone from bleeding to death.

I agree that, that is not possible. This method just helps the patient.

You should never use psionics instead of real medication. Psionics just helps along whatever the doctor is doing.

Most things you can heal....however, some conditions, etc....are not to be healed...and you generally get a firm message in your mind to leave it alone.

I call it the Grand Scheme of Things....lol
